Parcel 5 - City Council Meeting

We need YOUR VOICE at City Council Meeting April 25th. Please e-mail Mary at if you're willing to speak on behalf of this project.

About Visionary Square:
It is the ONLY proposal that will achieve the intended results which are *increased foot traffic, *higher property taxes, *more vibrant downtown with retail. And additionally, it will *add to the quality of life of the 1000s of new downtown residents, *attract young tech businesses that desire vibrant locations near green spaces and *reconnect our divided city!

We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform downtown Rochester If not now, when? If not here, where?

Visionary Square proposal benefits:

-ALL CITY RESIDENTS: social, physical, and mental health benefits attributed to urban green space development.

-BUSINESSES: urban green spaces attract innovative businesses and increased foot traffic to surrounding businesses.

PROPERTY VALUE: research demonstrates increased property value for surrounding buildings.

-SAFETY: Mountains of data demonstrate correlation between urban green spaces and lower crime.

--ENVIRONMENT: The environmental value of green space value is calculated through cleaner air and water that improve public health and reduce infrastructure maintenance costs
