Join us for an evening with Mary Lupien, candidate for Rochester City Council in the East District hosted by Richard Glaser.
Mary is an activist and teacher in the Rochester City School District. She is fighting to make Rochester a city where all have access to stable, quality and affordable housing, police are held accountable by the communities they serve, and transportation works for everyone, including those without cars, pedestrians and cyclists. She knows that our city can be a beacon for social justice and economic prosperity for all.
Mary will work tirelessly on behalf of all her constituents. She has demonstrated her integrity, accessibility and dedication through her work in her own Beechwood neighborhood.
We are featuring two new contributors to our dynamic creative community: The Spirit Room and UUU Art Collective. UUU Art Collective is a collaborative art space for local artists. Mary’s vision is aligned with the collective because she recognizes the importance of the arts in lifting up the entire community. She advocates for a coherent and supportive approach by regional government to the arts. And, this includes financial support of local artists from all backgrounds!
Location: UUU Art Collective, 153 State Street (across the street from The Federal Building)
When: Thursday, April 25, 6-7:30pm
Food provided by The Spirit Room

A financial donation is requested, but not required. Mary needs financial support to be able communicate to voters through direct mail, a social media campaign and lawn signs.
